VBAT refreshes Amsterdam Gay Pride

VBAT has created a new visual identity for the Amsterdam Gay Pride (AGP). The logotype itself is constructed of an overlapping A, G and P, whose forms reference the arches of Amsterdam’s historic canal bridges. This simple keyline structure, signed off with ‘Amsterdam Gay Pride’ provides a versatile framework to which bright rainbow colours and pattern are added to increase expressiveness. This framework, in conjunction with patterns referencing kitsch and Amsterdam popular culture, offers the possibility to create seemingly endless versions of the logotype.
