The traditional kiosk stand was born in the nostalgic heyday of railway travel. Referencing the excitement and quest for travel, when a train journey was an exciting experience and not just a ‘must get to work’ part of daily life.
The interior and brand identity leverages materials and visual cues from the heyday of train travel and is inspired by the commercial illustrative work of the 1930’s. Through it’s proud and clear graphical lines and bold use of perspective the logo picks up the simple and stylish typographical work of Cassandre, referencing the O as the wheel of a train.
