VBAT launches new Wolters-Noordhoff identity; Noordhoff Publishers

Due to the takeover of Wolters-Noordhoff by British based Bridgepoint Capital, it was no longer possible to use the name Wolters-Noordhoff. A new identity had to therefore be created. After a trial period of several months, the new identity has been revealed.
VBAT was challenged to develop the design of a new brand, without erasing 172 years of an amazing brand history.
In the past the publisher booked huge successes with ‘De grote Bosatlas’. Nowadays Noordhoff Publishers is a market leader in educational publications and innovative learning methods. The new brand identity reflects this. The logo indicates strength, development, and diversity. It is derived from the Fibonacci series. The new corporate identity is translated into all visual channels.
To support the organisation’s new zest, VBAT created an Atlas of Education, which was offered to Minister of Education, Plasterk. With this special publication Noordhoff Publishers captures the rich schooling history of Wolters and Noordhoff as well as Holland’s current education.
