Personalising interactivity in the complexity of message delivery

The Financieele Dagblad (FD) newspaper is the Dutch equivalent of the Financial Times (FT) and is the newspaper for business people. In line with their strategy of becoming a true multi-channel publisher, the website had to match the equivalent for this famous financial newspaper. Besides the personalised live newsfeeds and stock data, the site had to be constructed through dynamic user profiles. Our solution was finally composed after many workshops with journalists, users and content management people from the FD. The result is a complex, yet easy to navigate world that interacts with subscribers through a mix of web and other mobile communication devices. All recognise the same user and do not repeat messaging.
