Amidst the turmoil of the severest price wars in Europe, and despite the struggling mother company, Super de Boer developed a new store concept to withstand the competition locally and nationally. With the new store layout, all the relevant pillars for the brand were developed from one concept. The new store places the 'fresh' departments and the employees centrally, both literally and conceptually. By creating a quality entrance with fresh produce and meat, the visitor is attracted to the centre point of the store. All focus departments have their own atmosphere within the Super de Boer identity.
