In order to activate their role as chief sponsor of the Dutch national team, Super de Boer wanted to create a youth platform. SuperKicks was developed and introduced by VBAT, not as a one-time special offer, but as a continuous investment in a programme to stimulate young people to exercise more in order to combat weight gain. The platform was activated through an ambitious cross-channel programme. By collecting 3D cards with a scratch code one is able to unlock new football moves on the CD ROM game that can also be played against your peers. With the support of an extensive website and a large number of local events, the platform managed to capture over 40.000 young players within the first two weeks.
