Work that often low profiled and under valuated. The Voluntary Work Centre Amsterdam brings together both supply and demand when market forces don't. Their office, however, didn't contribute to build greater appreciation of voluntary work.
VBAT has developed an office that touches the soul of voluntary work. Donating time and material to build something new. Pieces of carpet and wood, remnants of paint and time are ingredients from which the environment is created. All donations fit the same grid; 20 x 70 cm. The result is an open and colourful environment that reflects the multiplicity of the city.
